Exceptional breakfast service

The Greyhound offered a seamless stay with excellent amenities. My room was clean and spacious, featuring a comfortable king-size bed and ample workspace. The included breakfast was delightful, with freshly cooked options that catered to various tastes. The staff were exceptionally helpful, ensuring all my business needs were met from setting up meeting arrangements to providing a cozy atmosphere to unwind after a long day.

The restaurant was beautifully decorated, providing a lovely atmosphere to enjoy meals. The staff were consistently friendly, making accessibility easy for everyone, especially seniors. I particularly loved the cozy bar area where we could relax after a day of exploring.

Great location near Haweswater and High Street walking. The staff greeted us warmly upon arrival. The breakfast had a good variety, including vegan options, which I appreciated. My room, a Deluxe Double, was comfortable, featuring a cozy bed. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious. however, I noticed some cleanliness issues in the shower room. It felt like it needed a good scrub, and overall, the room seemed dated. The shower also had inconsistent water pressure. I was disappointed that I couldn't find the advertised vegetarian options on the evening menu. Still, the ambiance in the pub area created a relaxed vibe after a long day of hiking.

Had a fab time! Nichola was super helpful when I needed to change our dates, even on her day off. The twin room was really modern and comfy. Loved hanging out in the bar area, good vibes. Just wish the Wi-Fi was faster – had a bit of trouble streaming my shows.

I had a lovely stay with clean, cozy rooms and all the amenities I needed, making my city strolls relaxing while also being just under 5 minutes from the historic Shap Abbey and close to the beautiful Swindale Beck, perfect for a scenic walk after exploring the local area.

Great food and secure parking, but Wi-Fi was weak in the room.
